Natural unscreened wood chip mulch. This is a natural, non-dyed wood chip mulch product that is fine, medium and large textures or chunks. It is a natural brown color. It is ground up grass clippings, tree limbs, shrubs, leaves, bark and needles from all tree species. This product is perfect for garden mulch, landscape, composting, and as a weed barrier. This product does not have the bio solids normally added to make the compost that is sold at the facility.
You can pick up this product at the Springville City Yard Waste Disposal Center at 600 W 700 N during normal operating hours 8 am to 6 pm, Tuesday through Saturday. We have equipment to help you load it.

Non-Resident and Commercial
Non-residents and commercial operations will be charged to drop off their yard waste. Pick-up Trucks – $10, Small Single Axle Trailer – $10, Pick-up Trucks or Small Single Axle Trailers with Sideboards – $20, Double Axle Trailer without sideboards – $20, Double Axle Trailer with sideboards – $30, Dump Truck – $50.
Composted materials suitable for soil enhancement are available for purchase (cash, check, or credit card) at $25 per cubic yard, $13.00 per 1/2 cubic yard for residents; $36 per cubic yard, $18.00 per 1/2 cubic yard for non-residents. If you are paying with cash, please have the exact amount.
Yard waste is also accepted at the South Utah Valley Solid Waste District (Transfer Station) at 2450 West 400 South in Springville. (801) 489-3027
There is a metal dumpster available for citizen convenience for all scrap metal, excluding refrigeration, air conditioners and freezers, unless there is a sticker stating they are free of freon.
Disposal materials must be suitable to be ground for composting. All contaminants must be removed that would damage the grinding equipment.

Small stumps are accepted if they are free of rocks.
