Jack-O’-Lantern Float
at Bartholomew Pond
Join us for this brand-new family-friendly Halloween event on Monday, October 30th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Wayne Bartholomew Family Park – 1090 South 2900 East Springville, Utah 84663. Bring your pre-carved pumpkins (8-inches or smaller) and we’ll illuminate the pumpkins and float them for you. Watch as Bartholomew Pond fills with glowing pumpkins!
As we wait for the sun to set, there will be food trucks, a ‘haunted’ trail walk, s’mores roasting stations and more exciting activities for the entire family to enjoy.
Costumes are encouraged.
Jack-O’-Lantern Float Guidelines
- This event is free, but pre-registration to reserve a float is appreciated.
- Bring a pre-carved pumpkin, 8-inches or smaller (approximately the size of a soccer ball). Mini or extra-large pumpkins cannot be accepted into the Jack o Lantern Float. Pumpkins are attached through the bottom to a block of foam with nails. All pumpkins must come with tops (lids) and be gutted and carved at home. A light and foam float will be provided for you.
- Jack o Lanterns with artificial decorations (such as paint, glitter, paper, plastic, light bulbs) will not be accepted. Pumpkins that do not meet the size or decoration guidelines will be used to decorate the shore.
- We have a limited number of floats available. Floats will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Floating pumpkins will not be returned at the end of the event. Please plan accordingly.
