Civic Center Volunteer Opportunity

Information Desk Attendant at the new Civic Center

Description:Volunteer will provide information to visitors about City Hall, its functions and the community in general. Directing visitors to the proper offices situated within the respective building. Assist in monitoring activity in the lobby. Handle phone calls in a professional manner which includes taking messages & transferring calls .

Requirements: Must have good verbal and written English skills, bilingual skills are helpful. Excellent telephone skills required. Must have good physical mobility (walking and bending required), be outgoing, mature and service oriented. Volunteer must work effectively with others and without direct supervision. Background check and 6 month commitment required
