All Other Spring Soccer has been Cancelled due to Covid-19

Spring Soccer practices start in March and games will start the week before Spring break and go for 5 weeks (no games during Spring break).

Youth sports registrations for fall programs are opening in good faith that the Utah County Covid-19 level will remain at yellow or green. Springville Rec will cancel these programs if heavier restrictions are put back into place for this area.

FALL Registration open June 15 – July 10, 2020.

Registration extended for 10-11-12 Grade League. New Deadline is July 19. Late registration for all other leagues continues until filled with a $10 late fee added, then a waiting list will be utilized.

Fall Soccer begins with the new school year in August and plays through the end of September. Leagues determined by current school grade and minimum age for Cub.

A late fee of $10 will be added after the deadline. There is a $10 fee for non-Springville residents. After leagues are filled, a waiting list is utilized.



Cub – age 4 through Kindergarten (Child must be 4 years old by March 31st for Spring League or by August 31st for Fall League). Cub Leagues are Coed and play either Tuesday & Saturday or Wednesday & Saturday. Parent coaches are always needed. Coaches can give a schedule preference in the comments section when registering.
1st & 2nd Grade – Girls games Wed & Sat; Boys games Thurs & Sat
3rd & 4th Grade – Girls games Wed & Sat; Boys games Thurs & Sat
5th & 6th Grade – Girls games Wed & Sat; Boys games Thurs & Sat
7th, 8th & 9th Grade – Girls games Wed & Sat; Boys games Tues & Thurs
10th, 11th & 12th Grade (Coed League) – Mon & another day TBD

Fee for CUB Division (ages 4 to Kindergarten) is $35 which includes a T-shirt.

Fee for 1st–12th Grade is $30 plus $13 for a new Springville soccer jersey if needed.

Register in-office or online.  A $10 late fee will be added after the deadline. Late registrations are accepted until the leagues are filled. Non-Springville residents must also add $10 per child. If the league is full, a waiting list is utilized. Team Placements (Draft) for the older leagues are listed below.

JERSEYS MUST BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY IF NEEDED. A Springville reversible Red/Blue boys jersey and Pink/Blue girls jersey is required for all players except Cub. Springville jerseys from past years can be used if they fit.

Shin guards and knee high socks (to hold shin guards in place) are required for all leagues.

Children will be placed according to their schools for Cub and 1-2 grade leagues. No team requests for 3rd grade and above (except siblings in the same league). Grades 3-4 will be placed according to schools, 5th grade and above will be drafted by a coach at team placements. Team Placements will be held on the dates and times listed below.

Opposing teams will sit on opposite sides of the soccer field for all games. No dogs are allowed at any Recreation activities.

Fall Team Placements:

5th-6th Grade – Placements for ALL players will be held on Wednesday, July 22.  Girls at 6 pm, Boys at 7 pm. Held at Community Park (711 N 950 W).

7th-8th-9th – Placements for ALL players will be held on Tuesday, July 21. Girls at 5 pm, Boys at 6 pm. Held at Community Park (711 N 950 W).

10th-11th-12th – Placements for ALL players TBD

*Registration is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week through the Rec1 online system. Users must create a family account and log in to register. If you have difficulties with Rec1 online registration, please call the Rec office during regular business hours at 801-489-2730. If you forget your password, please call and it can be re-set. Please do not create multiple accounts to register your participant. Most registration problems can be solved quickly over the telephone. Cash and check payments for registration are accepted in-office at Springville Recreation, 443 South 200 East, during regular business hours.
