SPRING 2021 Registration Jan 11 – Feb 12

Spring Soccer practices start in March and games will start the week after Spring break and go for 5 weeks. Leagues are determined by current school grade and minimum age for Cub. A late fee of $10 will be added after the deadline. There is a $10 fee for non-Springville residents. After leagues are filled, a waiting list is utilized.

FALL 2021 Registration June 1 – June 30

Fall Soccer begins with the new school year in August and plays through the end of September. Leagues are determined by current school grade and minimum age for Cub. LEAGUES:

Cub – age 4 through Kindergarten (Child must be 4 years old by March 31st for Spring League or by August 31st for Fall League). Cub Leagues are Coed and play games either Tuesday & Saturday or Wednesday & Saturday. Parent coaches are always needed. Head Coaches can give a schedule preference in the comments section when registering.

1st & 2nd Grade – Girls games Wed & Sat; Boys games Thurs & Sat
3rd & 4th Grade – Girls games Wed & Sat; Boys games Thurs & Sat
5th & 6th Grade – Girls games Wed & Sat; Boys games Thurs & Sat
7th, 8th & 9th Grade – Girls games Wed & Sat; Boys games Tues & Thurs
10th, 11th & 12th Grade (Coed League) – Mon & another day TBD

Fee for CUB Division (ages 4 to Kindergarten) is $35 which includes a T-shirt.

Fee for 1st–6th Grade is $45 which includes full uniform – Team shirt, shorts, socks.

Fee for 7th-12th Grade is $50 which includes full uniform – Team shirt, shorts, socks.

10-11-12 Grade will be coed. Boys and girls can request friends to form a team, 10 players maximum and a minimum of 4 girls on team. MUST HAVE A PARENT AS COACH.

Shin guards are required for all leagues. Cleats are optional, no metal cleats are allowed.

Opposing teams will sit on opposite sides of the soccer field for all games. No dogs are allowed at any Recreation activities.

Children will be placed according to their schools for Cub and 1-2 grade leagues. No team requests for 3rd grade and above (except siblings in the same league). Grades 3-4 will be placed according to schools, 5th grade and above will be drafted by a coach at team placements. Team Placement dates  (Draft) for upper leagues are listed below.

Register in-office or online.  A $10 late fee will be added after the deadline. Late registrations are accepted until the leagues are filled. Non-Springville residents must also add $10 per child. If the league is full, a waiting list is utilized. Team Placement dates (Draft) for the older leagues are listed below.

  • 5-6 Grade – Wed., July 21 – Girls at 6 pm / Boys at 7 pm. Held at Community Park, 711 N 950 W.
  • 7-8-9 Grade- Tues., July 20 – Girls at 6 pm / Boys at 7 pm. Held at Community Park, 711 N 950 W.

SOCCER – Adaptive VIP Program

Soccer Adaptive Program – For ages 5 to 30. Registration 2021 is open from August 2nd through August 27th. Cost is $20 per participant and includes a uniform shirt, shorts, and socks. There is NO added non-resident fee for this program. All are welcome! Participants will play on smaller fields and with buddies.  This 6 to 7 game season will be held on Saturday mornings in September and October. Click here for Rec1 Online Registration.

     

Registration

Registration is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week through the Rec1 online system. Users must create a family account and log in to register. If you have difficulties with Rec1 online registration, please call the Rec office during regular business hours at (801) 489-2730. If you forget your password, please call and it can be reset. Please do not create multiple accounts to register your participant. Most registration problems can be solved quickly over the telephone. The Recreation staff can help by phone so coming to the office isn’t necessary (unless you are paying cash or check).

Register any time 24 / 7 on Rec1 using a card. Cash and check payments for registration are accepted in-office at Springville Recreation, 443 South 200 East, during regular business hours.
