Youth sports registrations for fall programs are opening in good faith that the Utah County Covid-19 level will remain at yellow or green. Springville Rec will cancel these programs if heavier restrictions are put back into place for this area.
Registration for 1-6 Grade is open June 1 – July 18, 2021
Registration for 7-8-9 Grade is open through July 30.
Late registration adds a $10 fee after deadlines. Signups will continue until league is filled, then a waiting list is utilized.
Flag football includes an instructional 1st & 2nd grade league and regular league for 3-4 grades, 5-6 grades, and 7-8-9 grades. Leagues are based on the grade the child will be attending in the fall.
League fees include a team T-shirt. A $10 late fee will be added after the deadline. Late registrations are accepted until leagues are filled, then a waiting list is utilized. A $10 fee is also added for non-Springville residents. Season begins with the new school year in August and goes to mid-October.
1st & 2nd Grade – $40
3rd & 4th Grade – $50
5th & 6th Grade – $50
7th-8th-9th Grades – $50 Season starts in September and game play rotates Monday through Thursday through mid-October.
Leagues are based on school grade in the fall. There are NO REQUESTS in a sport with placements (except siblings playing in the same league). Players will be drafted by the coach.

All team placements will be held at 6:30 pm at Bird Park (1100 East 900 South). Team placements are held for ALL 3rd graders and any 4th graders who did not play last year and ALL 5th graders and any 6th graders who did not play last year. ALL 7th graders and 8th & 9th graders who did not play last year will also need to attend placements.
5th-6th Placements – Tuesday, July 20 at 6:30 pm at Bird Park
3rd-4th Placements – Wednesday, July 21 at 6:30 pm at Bird Park
7th-8th-9th Placements – Tuesday, August 3 at 6:30 pm at Bird Park
Springville Residents Only
Registration open through June 30, 2021
Tackle program is open to Springville residents only for 3rd through 9th Grades. Leagues are based on school grade coming up in the fall. Each age group practices and competes within their individual grade. Youth program for 3rd-4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students, and Freshman program specifically geared to 9th grade students. Tackle leagues include intensive practices starting in July, games are scheduled from the beginning of the school year through October with playoffs after regular season. NO REFUNDS will be issued after the first game.
Early Bird Registration May 1 – 30
3rd through 8th Grades – $180 9th Grade – $250
Grades for fall 2021 will be automatically rolled forward on June 1st. During Early Bird registration your child will show as “ineligible by grade”, so contact the Rec office to sign up for the correct league. Staff will assist with Early Bird registration.
Regular Registration June 1-30
3rd through 8th Grades – $200 9th Grade – $275
Late Registration after June 30th – a $10 late fee will be added.
No refunds will be issued after the first game.
Tackle weigh in – day and time to be determined.
Tackle placements / draft – day and time to be determined.
All players must weigh in by the placements to be placed on team.
*** Important Notice ***
Equipment is included in the registration fee. Equipment will be handed out before practices begin. At that time all players will be weighted for the official weigh in. If your child does not weigh in before the draft then he will be assigned to a team by the commissioner. Any child that does not come to the draft will be assigned to a team by the commissioner. All teams will be drafted equally! All teams will start on the A teams and will be moved at the discretion of the commissioner and the League Board.
Tackle leagues play from the beginning of the school year through October with playoffs at the end of the regular season.

*Registration is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week through the Rec1 online system. Users must create a family account and log in to register. If you have difficulties with Rec1 online registration, please call the Rec office during regular business hours at 801-489-2730. If you forget your password, please call and it can be re-set. Please do not create multiple accounts to register your participant. Most registration problems can be solved quickly over the telephone.
