SPRING Registration open Jan 13 – Feb 21, 2020.

Spring Soccer practices start in March and games will start the week before Spring break and go for 5 weeks (no games during Spring break).

FALL Registration open June 1 – June 30, 2020.

Fall Soccer begins with the new school year in August and plays until the end of September.

Leagues are determined by child’s current school grade and minimum age for Cub.

A late fee of $10 will be added after the deadline. There is a $10 fee for non-Springville residents. After leagues are filled, a waiting list is utilized.

     

LEAGUES:

Cub – age 4 through Kindergarten (Child must be 4 years old by March 31st for Spring League or by August 31st for Fall League). Cub Leagues play either Tuesday & Saturday or Wednesday & Saturday. Parent coaches are always needed. Coaches can give a schedule preference in the comments section.
1st & 2nd Grade – Girls games Wed & Sat; Boys games Thurs & Sat
3rd & 4th Grade – Girls games Wed & Sat; Boys games Thurs & Sat
5th & 6th Grade – Girls games Wed & Sat; Boys games Thurs & Sat
7th, 8th & 9th Grade – Girls games Wed & Sat; Boys games Tues & Thurs
10th, 11th & 12th Grade – Games days & times TBD

NEW! We are adding Boys and Girls 10th-11th-12th Grade Soccer this Spring! If we don’t get enough players registered to play separately, they will be combined into a co-ed league. Game days and schedule will be determined soon.

Fee for CUB Division (ages 4 to Kindergarten) is $35 which includes a T-shirt.

Fee for 1st–12th Grade is $30 plus $13 for a new Springville soccer jersey if needed.

Register in-office or online.  A $10 late fee will be added after the deadline. Late registrations are accepted until the leagues are filled. Non-Springville residents must also add $10 per child. If the league is full, a waiting list is utilized. Team Placements (Draft) for the older leagues are listed below.

JERSEYS MUST BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY IF NEEDED. A Springville reversible Red/Blue boys jersey and Pink/Blue girls jersey is required for all players except Cub. Springville jerseys from past years can be used if they fit.

Shin guards and knee high socks (to hold shin guards in place) are required for all leagues.

No team requests for 3rd grade and above (except siblings in the same league). Children will be placed according to their schools for Cub and 1st & 2nd grade leagues, but 3rd and up will be placed randomly. Team Placements will be held on the dates and times listed below.

Spring Team Placements:

Placements will be held at the Fieldhouse, 1015 East 900 South

NEW players in 5-6 League must attend.

ALL players in 7-8-9  League and 10-11-12 League must attend.

Tuesday, March 3          5th– 6th          Girls at 6pm, Boys at 7pm
Wednesday, March 4       7th-8th-9th       Girls at 6pm, Boys at 7pm
Thursday, March 5       10th-11th-12th       Girls at 5pm, Boys at 6pm

*Registration is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week through the Rec1 online system. Users must create a family account and log in to register. If you have difficulties with Rec1 online registration, please call the Rec office during regular business hours at 801-489-2730. If you forget your password, please call and it can be re-set. Please do not create multiple accounts to register your participant. Most registration problems can be solved quickly over the telephone. The Recreation staff can help by phone so coming to the office isn’t necessary (unless you are paying cash or check). Click here for Rec1 Online Registration.

Cash and check payments for registration are accepted in-office at Springville Recreation, 443 South 200 East, during regular business hours.
