SOCCER

 

SPRING Registration is open from January 14th through February 22nd, 2019. Spring Soccer practices start in March and games will start the week after Spring Break and go for 5 weeks.

FALL Registration is open the entire month of June – from June 1st through June 30th, 2019. Fall Soccer begins with the new school year in August and plays until the end of September.

Leagues are determined by child’s current school grade and minimum age for Cub.


LEAGUES:
          Cub – age 4 through Kindergarten (Child must be 4 years old by March 31st for Spring League or by August 31st for Fall League). Cub Leagues play either Tuesday & Saturday or Wednesday & Saturday. Parent coaches are always needed. Coaches can give a schedule preference in the comments section.
          1st & 2nd Grade – Girls games Wed & Sat; Boys games Thurs & Sat
          3rd & 4th Grade – Girls games Wed & Sat; Boys games Thurs & Sat
          5th & 6th Grade – Girls games Wed & Sat; Boys games Thurs & Sat
          7th, 8th & 9th Grade – Girls games Wed & Sat; Boys games Tues & Thurs

Fee for CUB Division (ages 4 to Kindergarten) is $35 which includes a T-shirt.

Fee for 1st–9th Grade is $30 plus $13 for a new Springville soccer jersey if needed.

Register in-office or online.  A $10 late fee will be added after the deadline. Late registrations are accepted until the leagues are filled. Non-Springville residents must also add $10 per child. If the league is full, a waiting list is utilized.

JERSEYS MUST BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY IF NEEDEDA Springville reversible Red/Blue boys jersey and Pink/Blue girls jersey is required for all players except Cub. Springville jerseys from past years can be used if they fit.

Shin guards and knee high socks (to hold shin guards in place) are required for all leagues.

No team requests for 3rd grade and above (except siblings in the same league). Children will be placed according to their schools for Cub and 1st & 2nd grade leagues, but 3rd through 6th grades will be placed randomly.

Spring Team Placements:

5th-6th Grade Spring Leagues on Wednesday, March 6 at Community Park Springville Fieldhouse (previously Springville Community Pool, 1015 E 900 S) at 6 pm for Girls and 7 pm for Boys.

7th-8th-9th Grade Spring Leagues on Thursday, March 7 at Community Park Springville Fieldhouse (previously Springville Community Pool, 1015 E 900 S) at 6 pm for Girls and 7 pm for Boys.

Fall Team Placements:

5th-6th Grade Fall Leagues on Thursday, July 25th at Community Park (711 N 950 W) at 6 pm for Girls and 7 pm for Boys.

7th-8th-9th Grade Fall Leagues on Tuesday, July 23rd at Community Park (711 N 950 W)  will be held at 6 pm for Girls and 7 pm for Boys.

*Registration is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week through the Rec1 online system. Users must create a family account and log in to register. If you have difficulties with Rec1 online registration, please call the Rec office during regular business hours at 801-489-2730. If you forget your password, please call and it can be re-set. Please do not create multiple accounts to register your participant. Most registration problems can be solved quickly over the telephone. The Recreation staff can help by phone so coming to the office isn’t necessary (unless you are paying cash or check). Click here for Rec1 Online Registration.

Cash and check payments for registration are accepted in-office at Springville Recreation, 443 South 200 East, during regular business hours.
