Junior Golf League
Beginning April 7th the links will be activated for registration
This is a playing league, if you are looking for instruction please see our Lessons and Clinics page.
Junior golfers will be given the choice of which league division they wish to play in. When signing up for the League please indicate the season the player would like to participate in – please read the Registration & Fee section below.
League Information
- The league is limited to the first 44 registered players.
- After registering for the league please pay the registration fee prior to or on the respective date due as described below in the Registration & Fee section.
- All play this season will be by tee time with signups through Google Docs.
- Each week a Google Doc will be opened with tee time availability on it.
- All players who wish to play that week will need to place their name in a spot for the tee time of their choice.
- All players will need to register to play with other league members; this is the only way we will be able to make this work.
- Players should arrive at the course 15 minutes prior to their tee time.
- Please register players by 1 PM on the date of play at the latest, to be sure the player has a group to play with and the league has the proper number of tee times.
- Only registered league players will be allowed to play on Monday evenings unless the game specifically allows for other players.
The intent of this division is to provide players the opportunity for more individual competition. It is a building division for young golfers who are looking to play in high school or participate in the more individual competition. This division will play from the Red, White, or Blue teeing areas each week. This is recommended for golfers with intermediate to advanced playing ability. Players who cannot individually score better than an average of 50 will be moved to the Niblick Division.
The intent of this division is to help young golfers develop skills, have fun, and play more team-oriented events. This is a developmental division that will play from junior tees and occasional red tees. Recommended for beginning to intermediate players.
Both divisions will play on Monday evenings, the Mashie division tee times will be before the Niblick division tee times. Please register Mashie players together and Niblick players together (a few events will have exceptions to this, so players from different divisions can play together; this exception will be noted on the google doc).
This league and both divisions are designed to help kids enjoy the game of golf, learn respect, learn rules, make friends, and participate in friendly competition.
All players agree to and accept the following terms of the league:
- Age limits: 6 to 17 Years (must not turn 18 prior to the season start)
- Signup for the appropriate division based on skill level
- Be at the course and ready to play 15 minutes prior to tee time
- All play is 9 Holes
- All players are expected to walk when they play
- Players will be paired by registration on google docs
- Play by the rules of golf and league rules
- Conduct himself/herself appropriately on and off the course
- Respect the course, facilities, other players, other golfers, course staff and parents
- Agree to keep up with the group ahead and maintain an appropriate speed of play; i.e. 9-holes of golf in 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours max.
