  • DOES THE CITY HAVE A DROP BOX FOR PAYMENTS?

  • Springville City provides drop boxes as a convenient method for making utility payments. Drop boxes are located in the south parking lot of the Springville City Hall complex at 110 South Main Street.

  • IS THERE A WAY TO PAY MY BILL ONLINE?

  • HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR UTILITIES?

  • You can sign up for utility services by coming in to the City Hall to fill out the paper work or by visiting Xpress Bill Pay . Xpress Bill Pay will require the deposit and set-up fee to be paid. If you do not need to pay a deposit and set-up fee and are not able to come to City Hall, please call the Utility Services department at (801) 491-7860 and we will email or fax an application to you. Please be aware that Springville City does not sign up residents for utilities over the phone.

  • HOW MUCH IS THE DEPOSIT?

  • The deposit fee is $100 for homeowners and $150 for renters, with a $25 set up fee. The deposit fee can be waived if you have one of the following: a letter of credit with a current utility company showing no late notices or disconnects, or you have a family member who is a current Springville resident, and is in good credit standing with Springville City who will co-sign on your account.

  • WHEN WILL I SEE MY BILL?

  • You should receive your bill between the 5th and 10th of the month.

  • WHEN IS MY BILL DUE?

  • The bills are due the 25th of every month.

  • HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR THE EQUAL PAY PROGRAM?

  • WHEN DO YOU READ THE METER? (RESIDENTIAL)

  • The water meters will begin to be read each March and then every month between May through October. Springville City does not read water meters in the winter, but you will still be charged your base fee of $10. This base fee allows you 5,000 gallons of water per month. In March you will be charged for your usage over 25,000 gallons at $1.05 per thousand gallons.
