9:00 am to 11:30 am
Community Park
711 North 950 West
Bring gloves, water and a shovel if you have one. Wear long pants, we’ll be digging out prickly invasive weeds and picking up litter. Trash bags will be provided.
In 2016, the section of Hobble Creek along Springville Community Park was restored to aid recovery of the endangered June Sucker. Streambanks and the stream channel were reconstructed to restore native riverine and riparian habitats, and invasive plant species were removed. The project will not only help the June sucker, but will improve fishing opportunities and provide a beautiful riverine area for Springville residents to enjoy.
