On December 19, 2019, Springville City received final flood elevation determination information (with respect to Hobble Creek and Utah Lake) from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), United States Department of Homeland Security.
The flood elevation determination becomes effective on June 19, 2020, and has implications to property owners who are located within the newly established floodplain and floodway. A map showing the newly established floodplain and floodway can be found at .
The State of Utah Division of Emergency Management, State Floodplain Manager will be holding a public meeting to discuss the effects of this determination on property owners in Utah County.
