The City offices will close on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. and will be closed Tuesday, January 1, 2019 for the New Years Holiday. There will be no City Council meeting. The next City Council meeting will be Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 5:30 p.m.
NOTICE is hereby given the Springville City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Springville City Council Chambers, 110 South Main Street, Springville, Utah. The purpose of the hearing is to consider an amendment of the FY 2018-2019 Springville City Budget. Interested persons are invited to attend. The City of Springville announces a vacancy in the office of City Council created by the election of Councilmember Richard (Rick) Child to Mayor, effective January 01, 2018. Pursuant to UCA 20A-1-510, the City of Springville hereby gives notice that the City Council will fill said remaining two-year vacancy at the City Council meeting to be held on the following date:

Any qualified person interested in being considered for appointment to the position of City Council may make application to Kim Rayburn, City Recorder. Preliminary election results were released and posted on Utah County’s website at UtahCountyOnline.org on November 7 sometime after 8:00 p.m. There will be large numbers of ballots received on election night and in the mail over the next two weeks. The County Elections Office will process these daily and will release subsequent results around 3:00 p.m. on November 9, 14, and 17.
The final numbers will be released to the city on Tuesday, November 21, the day that the Springville City Council will canvass the results in the scheduled city council meeting.

With the recent withdrawals of three Candidates for City Council, Springville City will NOT hold a Municipal Primary Election on August 15, 2017. The remaining four candidates for the (2) open City Council seats and two candidates for the Mayoral seat will move on to the Municipal General Election to be held November 07, 2017.
However, the City will be required to have a Voter Service Center for both the Primary and General Elections due to the 3rd Congressional Special Election to fill the seat vacated by Jason Chaffetz.
