Emergency Preparedness Class

Every year our country experiences deadly disasters. Florida and California residents are currently struggling with large scale destruction and loss of life. Our own state dealt with dangerous wildfires all summer long that caused thousands of evacuations near our own community.

It is not uncommon for aging adults to be hard-hit by disasters. Sadly, this can mean fatalities, severe injuries and even being left behind. What can we do to protect ourselves?

The Springville Senior Center has invited long-time Emergency Preparedness Specialist, Linda Milne, a member of the Utah Commision on Aging to speak to us. She is scheduled to teach a two part class on January 11th and 18th at 11:00 a.m. Please attend this interesting and infomative class.
