1-23-13	Public Notice - Declaration of Candidacy PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that Springville City will hold a non-partisan municipal general election on November 5, 2013 to elect a mayor and two (2) council members to serve four-year terms of office. Given a sufficient number of candidates, a municipal primary election will be held on August 13, 2013. To qualify for candidacy a person must be a United States citizen, a registered voter at least 18 years old, and a resident of Springville City or a recently annexed area of Springville City for a period of 365 consecutive days immediately preceding the date of the election. A candidate must file a Declaration of Candidacy in person with the City Recorder, or have a Nominating Petition filed in his or her behalf. These documents are available in the City Recorder’s office or online at www.springville.org. The filing period begins June 3, 2013 and ends on June 7, 2013 during regular business hours. There is a $10 filing fee to be paid at the time of filing. 8-24-11	Notice of Early Voting Opportunity Springville City hereby gives notice that all residents may VOTE EARLY at the Springville City Offices from Tuesday, August 30 to Friday, September 2, 2011 and Tuesday, September 6 to Friday, September 9, 2011 during regular business hours, 8:00 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The City Offices will be closed on September 5, 2011 to observe Labor Day.
