Children can write letters to Santa and bring to the “North Pole Express” mailbox outside the UPS store (224 S. Main) to ensure prompt delivery to Santa at the North Pole. A self-addressed stamped return envelope must be enclosed in order to receive a personal answer from Santa. There is no fee.General

The Utah Valley Handbell Choir was formed in 1993. The choir consists of 56 bells, cast in bronze or aluminum, and each tuned to a single note. Choir members volunteer their time, and starting in September meet for two hours each week to prepare for the Christmas concert season. Enjoy a Christmas concert with the Utah Valley Handbell Ringers. This is a perennial favorite and is always well attended. Because of the limited seating, free tickets are required for the performance. They can be picked up at the Springville Museum of Art during Museum open hours beginning November 29th. There are TWO performances. The first at 3:30, and then again at 5:00.General

Discover the correlation of art and literature in SMA’s book club. In Jacob T. Marley R. William Bennett rewinds the classic Christmas tale of remorse and redemption in Dicken’s A Christmas Carol to focus the spotlight on Scrooge’s miserly business partner, Jacob T. Marley, who was allowed to return as a ghost to warn Scrooge away from his ill-fated path. Why was Marley allowed to return? And why hadn’t he been given the same chance as Ebenezer Scrooge? Or had he? The masterly crafted story explores choices, consequences and the power of accountability. Enjoy light refreshments and discuss books with SMA’s inspiring galleries as a backdrop.General
