Please look on our calendar and notice that all of our weekly children’s programs will be offered during the first two weeks of December.  All of our story times, music classes, Baby Lap Time, etc. will return in January with the New Year.

Please join us for the following programs:

Monday, Dec 10th – 7:00pm  Bedtime Stories – The Grinch!  Whoooooville Celebration  Bring your whole family for lots of Christmas fun!

Wednesday, Dec 12th – 7:00pm Take the Pressure Off Dinner!  Learn How to Cook a Complete Meal Using a Pressure Cooker!  Join the ladies from USU Extension’s Food $ense program for another informative class. (Rumor has it that the sample will be Creme Brulee!)

Saturday, Dec 15th – 5:00pm A Christmas Teen Night Party with gingerbread houses, a Christmas movie, and lots of fun.  Be careful to note that this is on Saturday instead of the usual Friday evening.

Tuesday, Dec 18th – 12:00pm Books & Bites Book Club will be discussing Blue Jay’s Dance by Louise Erdrich.  We still have several copies of this book available for check-out at the adult information desk.  This is an informal group – You are welcome to come and sit in on the discussion anytime!

The library will be closed both Monday, Dec 24th and Tuesday, Dec 25th. Merry Christmas! We will reopen on Wednesday, Dec 26th with our normal hours of 10:00am – 9:00pm.

On Monday, Dec 31st, the library will close early at 3:00pm, and we will also be closed Tuesday, Jan 1st.  Our regular hours will then resume on Wednesday, Jan 2nd.

Here is a picture of the Utah Valley Handbell Ringers during their Christmas concert here at the library last Thursday night.  Over 160 people came to enjoy their beautiful music.  If you missed them, plan on coming next year on the Thursday after Thanksgiving – It is a new tradition for our Springville Library!
