October is here already, and we have lots of fun events planned for the library this month! Have you used our on-line calendar before? Just click on any date, and a drop-down box will appear listing all the events that are scheduled for that day.
You will want to make sure and plan on coming to our nutrition class at 7:00pm on Wednesday, October 10th. Raven Albertson and Lindsay McRae from USU Extension’s Food $ense Program will have a fun class on “Fall Favorites”. Come get some great recipes and ideas for making all of your fall recipes healthier!
And make sure you reserve the evening of Thursday, October 25th. Beginning at 7:00pm, we’ll have a concert on our second floor from the group Musica Antiqua. Musica Antiqua is a group of musicians from all over Utah County, including several BYU professors, who come together to perform Medieval, Baroque, and Renaissance music on period instruments.
Did you know that we have an adult book club here at the library? Called Books & Bites, this group meets the third Tuesday of each month at noon in our Board Room upstairs. Sheri Britsch, our reference librarian, leads the discussion. You can find the current discussion book on display at the adult information desk. Just sign up on the list and check out a copy of the book.
