Profile

Important topics to our community:

Green Space – We need to continue to improve existing parks and develop new parks as development occurs. When we add new open space designed for sporting activities, our existing parks—many of which currently function as soccer fields—can return to being neighborhood parks as they were designed to be.

Power Needs – We must continue to seek out new power solutions, including renewable energy resources and new technologies to help keep power rates as low as possible and meet the needs of our growing community. Keeping an eye on possible power developments and power contracts will ensure that our rates will remain stable.

Business Development – I am pleased with the growth and development that has occurred in Springville and support any new business development project that will provide the services and tax benefits our community needs and deserves.

Recreation Center – We need to raise the level of discussion about a recreation center for Springville, especially about the purpose of such a center and its ability to meet our community’s needs. A well-planned and well-thought-out recreation center will allow everyone to enjoy the benefits of community health and youth activities. Community input is crucial if we are to meet the needs of our entire city.
