Mission Statement:

The mission of the Emergency Services is to prevent loss of life and property by providing a fire safe environment in the City through fire prevention and inspection. To respond to emergencies that endanger life or property, to protect life by the extinguishment of fire through efficient fire suppression activities. To provide emergency medical service to the citizens of the City by providing rescue, caring treatment and transpiration to the nearest medical facility.

Responded to 1,334 calls for service, including 11 structures fires. This is an increase of 548 calls for service from the year before.

Volunteered 2,644 hours of time. 1,259 hours training and 1,385 hours fighting fires.

Provided manpower and equipment to Provo during a May 2004 tanker rollover.

27 Firefighters certified as Firefighter II.

9 Firefighters certified as Firefighter I.

4 Firefighters completed the approved driver training program.

Firefighters responded to 280 medical calls and 570 building inspections.
