Utah County cities win LED streetlights
Uncle Sam is footing the bill for three Utah County cities to swap out the old lamps of nearly 1,000 streetlights with super-efficient LED fixtures.
Springville, Payson and Eagle Mountain are among 14 member cities of Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems that get a share of a $1,165,772 federal energy conservation grant to go LED (light-emitting diode).
