Snow Removal Reminder

The Springville City Streets Department strives to remove snow on all city streets within 10 hours after a snow storm.

According to City Code 8-4-105 (2) It shall be unlawful for any person to remove any snow or ice from any private property and place the same on any public street, sidewalk, driveway, or right-of-way, or any part thereof.

We understand and appreciate your efforts in removing the snow from your driveway and sidewalks, but pushing the snow (with a blade) into the street can create traffic hazards and other problems for the mail carriers, garbage trucks, and snow plows.

We ask for your cooperation in this matter so we can safely and effectively plow the streets in a timely manner.

If you have any questions, please call the Public Works office at 491-2780.
