Burn permits will be issued starting on Saturday April 1, 2006 at 8:00 by calling the dispatch center at 489-9421. The burn permits will be issued daily until Sunday April 30, 2006 at 4:00 pm. The permits are only good for the date issued. A safety inspection will be done by the Fire Department before issuing the permit. All fires must be extinguished by sunset that day.

The permits are for yard cleanup only, so the rule is if you grew it on the property it may be burned on the property. No trash, rubbish, tires or building material can be used to start the fire or included in the fire.
The materials should be placed in small piles and away from any other combustible materials.

A responsible person with suitable fire fighting tools must attend the fire at all times and no fire can be set within 50 ft. of a building.

A permit may be cancelled In case of high winds or complaints of smoke.
