A Municipal Election will be held November 8, 2005. The position of Mayor and two Council seats are open. Those who have filed to run are:

You must be registered in the district in which you live in order for your name to be found in the voting register for your precinct. Registration is through the County Election Office, 100 East Center, Room 3100, in Provo. You can go to the Utah County web site Utah County
www.co.utah.ut.us and click “online services” at the top of the page. Then click on “register to vote.” This site will tell you how to register to vote, whether or not you are already registered, or it will answer all sorts of questions about eligibility to vote and to register. You can contact the Election Office by phone at 851-8128.

Election judges, counting judges and alternates are needed to serve at the Municipal Election on November 8, 2005. If you are interesting, please contact the City Recorder at 489-2712. An election judge must stay at the polling location from about 6:30 am to about 8:30 pm. You must be a citizen of Springville and a registered voter in order to be an election judge.
