Welcome to the new Springville.org

New sections added to the website include FAQs and an interactive events calendar which allows you to download important city calendar events direct to your desktop calendar or PDA. We also plan on adding the ability to pay your utility bills online. This feature will be active by August 31, 2004. Work will continue on future developments for the site. Essential to this process is feedback from users about the new site and what they want on the site in the future. An online feedback form located under the contact us link is available to capture users’ opinions and comments, which will guide our efforts in future phases of the site’s development.

World Folkfest 2004

The Springville World Folkfest will bring the color and excitement of traditional folk dance and music from around the world to Springville during the 19th annual World Folkfest, planned this year July 10-17, 2004, in Springville, Utah, USA. This annual production of folk music and energetic dance by musicians and dancers from many lands has grown to become the largest festival of folk dance and music in the United States.

Six outdoor evening performances are scheduled during the 2004 Folkfest on the outdoor stage at the Spring Acres Arts Park, located just north of Springville High School at 620 South 1350 East. The Springville World Folkfest annually features approximately 300 performers dressed in the brilliantly colored costumes of their native lands.
