3/13/06 Notice is hereby given that the Springville City Council adopted two ordinances at their regular meeting held on March 7, 2006. These ordinances are: Ordinance No 3-06, amending Title 4 of the Springville City Code and establishing a Street Trees and Tree Planting Ordinance, and Ordinance No 4-06, amending Title 7, Business Regulations and Licensing of the Springville City Code. These ordinances are on file in the office of the City Recorder and may be viewed there by interested persons.  
     
3/20/06 Springville City Police Department is currently in possession of unclaimed property held in excess of 90 days, for which ownership is undetermined or we have not been able to contact the owner or finder.  This was property seized as evidence and is no longer needed, safekeep property being held for the owner, and found property where the owner is unknown.  Property consists of bicycles, electronics, clothing and other personal effects, tools, sporting goods, jewelry, etc. Pursuant to Title 77, Chapters 24 and 24a, Utah Code Annotated, 1953 as amended, if the above described property is not claimed within 15 days of this notice it will either be sold at auction, disposed of, or converted to City use.  If you believe the City has property belonging to you, contact: Springville Police Department, Evidence Custodian, 45 South Main, Springville, UT 84663; ph.: 489-9421.

6/06/06 Notice is hereby given that the Springville City Council will continue to accept comment at three PUBLIC HEARINGS to be held by the Springville City Council during their Regular Meeting scheduled for June 6, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at the Springville City Civic Center, Council Chambers, at 50 South Main Street, Springville, Utah.  The purpose of the hearings is as follows:  1) Consider acceptance of the Culinary Water Impact Fee Study, and adopt an Ordinance amending the Impact Fees for the Springville City Culinary Water System; 2) Consider acceptance of the Secondary Water Impact Fee Study, and adopt an Ordinance setting an Secondary Water System Impact Fee; 3) Consider accepting the Sewer System Impact Fee Study, and adopt an Ordinance amending the Springville City Sewer System Impact Fee.  These hearings were opened by the City Council at their Regular Meeting on May 16, 2006 and have been continued to allow a reasonable opportunity for citizens to comment.  All interested persons are invited to attend.  Copies of the Impact Fee Studies and the proposed Ordinances are on file in the Office of the City Recorder and in the Springville Public Library, and may be viewed there during regular business hours.

Springville City Council and Mapleton City Council hereby give notice that on September 5, 2006 the Springville Council adopted a resolution, with Mapleton City adopting a resolution on September 6, 2006, setting forth the intention of both cities to enter into a boundary agreement to adjust the common boundary between the two cities about 1200 East 1300 South in Springville and 700 West 2000 North in Mapleton. The property is more particularly described as follows: Commencing at a point 1321.27 feet along the Quarter Section Line on N 0º 57’ 04” W from the South Quarter Corner of Section 3, Township 8 South, Range 3 East, Salt Lake Base and Meridian, thence N 0º 57’ 04” W 225.71 feet, thence N 89º 45’ 20” E 357.07 feet, thence S 0º 36’ 00” W 227.21 feet, thence West 351.01 feet to the point of beginning.AREA = 1.84 acres or 80,168 square feet The Springville City Council will hold a public hearing on this proposed boundary agreement on Tuesday, November 7, 2006 in the Springville City Council Chambers at 50 South Main, Springville, Utah 84663. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG)FIRST PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
